Words page: Why Regression?

Cloud's day started off horrible. He was up too late, and therefore was late to his first delivery, where the client yelled and ranted for an hour before he left. All else went well save for the gift he was supposed to leave for Rufus, which he forgot. Now Elena's going to kill him. So he got home and tripped trying to get off of his motorcycle, and hit his shin. Not only that, but his tardiness and forgetfulness of the day sent him spiraling into his angsty memories of his brutal past, thinking himself weak and useless. And so, he runs to Tifa for comfort, and instead of treating her like the one person in the world he loves, he sees her as his mother he misses so much. Poor Cloud.

This is negative because he's not getting anywhere with his childish behavior,
